A daily Casablanca - Oujda service (a 10 hour trip across Morocco), hauled by a DH 370 (EMD GT26CW-2), is crossing one of the new bridges near lake Idriss 1er. The lake is only a few years old, and since the line formerly ran on what is now the lake bed, it had to be rebuilt in this section. One of the old bridges can be seen just behind this new bridge (during winter it is completely submerged and invisible!). The first car behind the locomotive houses a generator, because these locomotives do not supply head-end power.
