Scotland's iconic Forth Bridge is now mercifully without cladding or scaffolding after a 10-year maintenance programme is finally completed. At dusk, a class 158 on an Edinburgh-Fife Circle service is dwarfed by the structure. Sadly, the bridge says a diet of diesel units these days, with few loco-hauled trains in daylight hours.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
