Each year, the National Railway Historical Society offers a program called "RailCamp" for young rail enthusiasts to get the chance to get close to and operate pieces of rail equipment at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Here, three campers and a Steamtown employee roll along on a yard track performing duties such as those of an everyday engineer/conductor.
