With a freeze-damaged Alco S-4 out of service for the Claremont Concord Railroad's West Lebanon, New Hampshire operation, a deal to temporarily lease the Vermont Railway's GP38-3 206 was reached. The unit is kept on the Vermont Rail System wye in White River Junction and retrieved when the CCRR needs to use it. Just before midnight on February 2, the VTR 206 holds the north leg of the wye, while VTR GP40-2s 307 and 303 are on the service track near the depot as a steady snow is falling.
