A CNJ survivor and Scranton landmark - built in 1891 at the top of a switchback, this freight house served as the Western most terminus for the railroad originating in Jersey City. An equally impressive passenger station once stood nearby.
Oh the stories these special buildings could tell. Originally the brains of the rails they monitored, working to insure effecient rail service for our nation! A tribute!
