The most ridiculous lashup I've ever seen, much less on a Class 1, eases down to the south end of Duplainville to pick up a CP pilot crew to make the run down the CP into Milwaukee. This GP9RM, GP38-2, SD38-2, SD40-3 lashup would pound west, then north back up the CN after dark, but I stuck around just to listen to the incredible noise of this lashup pulling 72 loaded coke hoppers up the grade in Sussex.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
