You never know what you will find on the shop garden tracks at Steamtown. Today there are two immaculate "Lackawanna" F-3's, and coupled elephant style no less. Built by EMD for the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad, they are currently owned by two NRHS chapters. Here after a long winters nap, they are to be used on Steamtown's long distance excursions.
This gallery contains photos of equipment and properties that became, were and used to be part of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. This gallery also contains photos of equipment paying tribute to the EL or its predecessors.
