A tired crew peeks out the window of the Norfolk Southern "GoRail" unit, painted last year in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of GoRail, a not-for-profit organization that educates the public of the advantages of freight by rail. A perfect example of the initiative, the unit is at the head of Linwood, NC bound mixed freight 18M as the train slows down to enter the classification yard at Portsmouth, Ohio, passing some of the last Norfolk & Western CPL's on the line between Columbus and Bluefield.
