The Wabash depot in Monticello, IL. This depot was built in 1899 to replace a smaller depot that burned down earlier that year. On April 20, 1904 the Wabash line was straightened and placed on a fill allowing it to travel over the Illinois Central line (now Monticello Railway) and the station was moved to higher ground beside the new main. The depot was moved once again on May 29, 1987, to its present location and serves as the museum other gift shop.
