Southern Railway of BC's barge job loads the last track on a barge at the Annacis Rail Marine Terminal on Annacis Island. Of course, this is no ordinary day as the crew has loaded four passenger cars and FP7 4069 which belong to the West Coast Railway Association. The vintage passenger train is destined for Vancouver Island where a special excursion is set to run on April 8th, 2016. Hopefully, this is a positive sign for the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway, which lost its passenger service due to poor track condition in 2011.
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
