On a late summer afternoon in the late 1950s, the daily passenger train pulls up to the semaphore displaying a stop aspect. The train will unload before heading south to its final destination. In the lead is one of the Norfolk & Western's "J" class locomotives, this one numbered 611.... In reality, it's a scorching late summer afternoon on September 10, 2016 and N&W 611 is spending the day pulling the NCTM's museum trains, seen here under the inoperable semaphore preparing to stop at Barber Junction to unload passengers from the final run of the day.
