It's a gorgeous, but also bi-polar morning in Colorado's high country, but then again, it is Colorado... it changes every five minutes. Seen here, BNSF ES44C4 No. 6791 leads two more BNSF GE's down the 2-percent grade through the east end of East Portal siding along Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision on September 24, 2016. The train has just exited the Moffat tunnel, over a mile back and it'll continue to descend down the mountain on into Denver, its final destination.
