Christmas Before Thanksgiving
As darkness begin to fades in the hollars of Appalachia Coal Country on this cold late November morning, we catch CSX P907-21 crossing over the Russell Fork of the Big Sandy River. The 73rd Annual CSX Santa Train is going to make its second stop in downtown Elkhorn City, KY (MP CMG-128.0 Elkhorn City) on its 110 rail-mile journey throughout the beautiful Appalachia Coal Country to its final stop, and destination Kingsport, TN on the CSX Kingsport Subdivision, but before than the train will be making stop, and the crew, along with Santa Claus will be distributing gifts to people that live along this vital coal line.
