The days of the old N&W CPLs are numbered, as seen here at Webster. In some locations, such as Bonsack, the new "Vader" signals have already gone up and the CPLs come down. In others, such as the intermediates at Montvale, the new signals simply need to be uncovered and turned on for the transition to be made. It is rumored that most, if not all, CPLs on the Blue Ridge may be gone by the end of April, marking the end of an era.
