The first train of the day is running up the steep grade to Rothorn Kulm. Shoving is light oil fired cogwheel steamlocomotive H 2/3 # 16, built in 1992 by SLM Winterthur for the Glion-Rochers de Naye Bahn and running for the BRB since 2005. The leightweight cars are B # 9 and B # 3, built by SIG in 1973/1974. The view goes to the Lake Brienz with Interlaken and the Bernese Alps with Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau on the left. Above the locomotive, you can see the track where the train run 5 minutes ago. The BRB is 125 years old now, the gauge is 80 centimeter and the maximum grade 25.0 % with Abt rack system. All trains this day were steam powered, sometimes there are some relief trains with diesel locomotives.
