Standard gauge cogwheel 0-4-0 steamlocomotive "Caspar Honegger", built in 1877 by Engineer Niklaus Riggenbach in the machine works Aarau for the textile works of Caspar Honegger in Rüti (ZH). The today owner of this locomotive rebuilt it during 16 years to this operational unique gem. The locomotive is standing on the traverser of the Rigibahnen in Arth Goldau, after a journey to Rigi Kulm, shoved by railcar BCFhe 2/3 # 6 of the Rigibahnen.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
