Self propelled 0-6-0+0-6-0 Xrot d rotary snow blower # R 1052 of the Bernina Railway, built in 1912 by the SLM Winterthur, sister of the Xrot d # 9213 (former R # 1051), now on the Blonay Chamby Railroad Museum, shoved by cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 3, built in 1913 by the SLM for the Brigue-Furka-Disentis, later Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO), running near the stop of Cornaux. The rotary is not really operational (boiler written off), but the large blower wheel is turning, provided with steam of the shoving locomotive! This fascinating piece of steampowered snow blowing equipment from the Bernina line was beautifully renovated by the Blonay-Chamby for the MEGA BERNINA FESTIVAL in september 2018.
