This time, de-elevation was the key. On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, CSX K602-12 was led by Union Pacific Railroad 1995 (SD70ACe, Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company heritage). In search of local landmarks that would distinguish these pictures from midwestern locations, one obvious choice was the Bear Mountain Bridge, which spans the Hudson River in New York. This colorful tribute to the “Employee Owned” railroad made for an interesting visitor on the former West Shore Route of the New York Central Railroad.
