The sun has set as the “blue hour” settles over Winston Hill in Montana on September 25, 2007. Slowly, a westbound grain train approaches up the grade as an eastbound train waits patiently in the siding at Winston. Another day is ending on Montana Rail’s Second Subdivision east of Helena.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
