Remarks & Notes
Pan Am Railways local BO-1 (Boston) is seen working the docks in Everett, Ma. The crew is delivering seven loads they just shoved in for the Ciment Quebec dockside distribution facility. They will then switch out seven empty cars. Typically this job serves this facility three times a week. Also on this lead is the Schnitzer scrap metal facility. The red white and blue unit to the left is a cabless switcher that the Ciment Quebec crews use to move cars around their spurs. Crews use a small control stand on the side of the unit to operate it. The photo is taken across the Island River from the Mary O'Malley Park in Chelsea.
