An interesting variety of locomotives, typical of the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad in the 70s and 80s, was found at the railroad’s yard in Hermon, Maine. Several mid-60s-built 80-class GP38s are here, wearing the BAR’s latest paint scheme. Also in the yard is BL2 51, an EMD product constructed in March 1949, and 1948-built F3A 46. (Hermon, Maine – May 1983). Ed Robinson Photo, Craig Walker Collection
An assortment of photos of the distinctly unique (and 'cute') little locomotive EMD ever built, the BL2! I understand it also makes a tasty sandwich..Oh, that's a BLT! (When a new BL2 photo is "ordered", it will be served fresh!)
