Pickens has both the Anderson train and the Belton train heading south toward the industrial area at Gluck. CSX brought 30 cars to the Greenville and Western the night before, and Greenville and Western shuttled them to their yard in Belton. It was a little too much for the U18B's to handle at one time, so the Anderson job followed the Belton Job as a light engine to Belton. While the Belton job worked two customers in Honea Path, the Anderson job (with the B40-8) got the cars right in the Greenville and Western yard and took half of them westward. The Belton job then made a pickup of the rest and followed about 30 minutes behind to Anderson. The Anderson job shuffled some cars for a little while and allowed just enough time for the Belton job to catch up. Here, they're both on the undulating tangent just south of Anderson and will head in to the industrial lead with a little work at Michelin and First Quality (tissue).
