Well into it's first Winter of operation over the Searsport Branch, Canadian Pacific has left schedules pretty much what they were during Central Maine & Quebec days. Perhaps a bit later on the reporting times, symbol F13 still traverses the branch twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Even though it's original owner--Bangor and Aroostook--has been officially gone for the better part of 30 years, nobody would have ever predicted CP laying claim to this line even 5 years ago. Having been interchange partners for generations in the Brownville Junction area, Mid-Coast Maine was always BAR! The afternoon of February 11, 2021 had F13 making its early afternoon run to Searsport in bright but cold conditions. Just below MP15 in Frankfort, Maine, a fresh looking 'ECO 2307 led a GP38 helper and 29 cars toward the shoreline. It was the healthiest block of slurry empties up front that I had seen in quite some time.
