A venerable set of 70's era GE built SEPTA Silverliner IV's arrive at the station in Eddystone, PA. No. 405 was delivered to the Reading Company in 1973, part of a 232 car order split between the Reading and Penn Central all built between 1973 and 1976. Eddytone, you may recall, was home to the Baldwin Locomotive Works, its corporate office and headquarters still survives nearby, just ahead of the station, along the tracks on the left. Unfortunately, the station building does not, only a pair of shelters.
