On the night of May 26th, 2021, Providence & Worcester's "FPCH" heads east over the Saugatuck River Bridge (CP244) on Metro-North's New Haven Line with GE C40-8 4052 leading 3 other engines and a bunch empty stone cars. FPCH runs every other day bringing empty stone cars from Fresh Pond Yard (FP) in Queens, NY to Cedar Hill Yard (CH) in North Haven, CT. CHFP brings down the loads.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
