N&W No. 475 takes the siding with a small mixed train giving way to a hot shot freight led by N&W No. 611. Seem unlikely? Perhaps, but no more so than having N&W No. 611 show up in Pennsylvania, at the Strasburg Rail Road - along side yet another N&W locomotive! Built by Norfolk & Western at its Roanoke Shops in 1950, No. 611 actually did end her career with the N&W hauling branch line freight. No. 475 was built by Baldwin (in Philadelphia, PA) nearly 50 years earlier, in 1906.
