New Station for ExtonAmtrak cab car No. 9645 leads an early morning New York bound Keystone into the station at Exton, PA. The station, opened in 1981, is located close to the former Whiteland station served by the former Pennsylvania Railroad.
The building seen above, along with new high level platforms are part of a upgrade, completed in March, 2020. In the distance, to the right, is Whitford station, under the famous 375 foot PRR bridge which was part of a bypass known as the P&T (the Philadelphia and Thorndale Branch) which paralleled the main line between Frazer and Thorndale.
