Based in Souderton, Pennsylvania, the Moyer Packing Company, at one point the ninth-largest beef processor in the United States, called itself Mopac. The other Mopac had a rail presence, rostering a fleet of 86-foot stock cars. At a time when most stock traffic had disappeared from the rails, one of Moyer Packing’s stock cars rolls through Cresson, Pennsylvania in a Conrail intermodal train.
