Crossings.
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) 2400-Series car no. 2455 (Boeing-Vertol, 1976-1978) is seen switching tracks at Barry Interlocking south of Belmont Station. In the background can be seen the relatively new Belmont Flyover, which carries Brown Line trains bound for Kimball over the tracks of the Red and Purple Lines. The heritage cars seen here are headed to the Loop for special trips in celebration of the CTA's 75th anniversary, and had to change tracks due to the local tracks north of Belmont being removed as part of ongoing reconstruction work on the northern section of the North Side Main Line.
