Montana Rail Link’s 844 local trundles upgrade on the branch to Harrison, Montana, on October 4, 2022. On the rear of the train is weatherbeaten Northern Pacific observation car No. 391 that is headed to a new owner, and will be trucked from the end of track at Harrison. Originally named “Arlington Club”, it was built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 for service on NP’s North Coast Limited, and included four double bedrooms, one compartment, a buffet-kitchen and a 26-seat observation lounge.
