Winterfest.
On Saturday, January 21, 2023, the Connecticut Trolley Museum hosted hosted a night photo shoot featuring their collection of equipment. The museum and some of the equipment was still somewhat decorated from their "Winterfest" event earlier in the month, which added a nice touch to the scenes. In an impromptu shot while the event was getting underway, we see three streetcars in the museum's Kelly Barn, the warm glow of lights seeming very inviting on the rather cold night!
From left to right are: Connecticut Company no. 65 (Wason Manufacturing Co., 1906), Montreal Tramways open observation car no. 4 (MT Youville Shops, 1924), and Boston Elevated Railway Type 5 semi-convertible trolley no. 5645 (Laconia, 1923).
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
