"Take OKC Streetcar to the Law School"
An Oklahoma City Streetcar makes a station stop at the Oklahoma City University School of Law on the wet morning of May 4th, 2021. The "Law School" stop is one of a handful of spots along the route where the streetcars drop their pantographs to utlize a battery feature equipped on the system's Brookville built Liberty Modern Streetcars.
Oklahoma City Streetcar is a 4.8-mile light rail system that opened on December, 2018 to serve the downtown Oklahoma City area. The line utilizes seven Brookville built Liberty Modern Streetcars which run on overhead wire for 60 percent of the route and battery power on 40 percent making it the longest off-wire streetcar system in the United States.
