As part of the Durango and Silverton's 100th Anniversary of The K-28 Class, 473 and 476 were backdated to their 1950's appearance, and for the first time since the late 1950's a mid train helper, mixed train was ran on the Silverton Branch. The two sporty mikes bracket a train typical of the branch in the late 1950's, though the reproduction of the long lost Silver Vista, lost in late 1953 brings up the rear with caboose 0540 bringing up the markers would have been located ahead of the coaches then. Still, a near flawless representation of the line in those days as it navigates Granite Point above Elbert Creek and Shalona Lake.
