Every Wednesday during the summer is Rigi Historic Day. On both sides of the mountain, certain trains are operated with historic rolling stock. The worldwide oldest operational cogwheel railcar BCFhe 2/3 # 6, built in 1911 by SLM, MFO and SWS for the Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB), is shoving car B # 35 of 1899 and C # 11 "Bambus" of 1889 up the mountain from Arth Goldau to Rigi Kulm, above Rigi Staffel.
