The Crawford Helpers shove the rear of an eastbound coal load up the 1.7% grade of Crawford Hill as server thunderstorms move across northwestern Nebraska. As the helpers shove up against the DP motors of this Alabama Power coal train, the head consist can be seen climbing the grade. The leaders are BNSF 3317 and BNSF 3318, which are making their first eastbound trip over Crawford. They're BNSF's newest order of ES44ACH "Heavies" locomotives.
