Now if we can just get this motor to sub on Amtrak's Texas Eagle...

Anyone see Xzibit walking around? Pimp My Ride indeed!
|
What a JOKE. This is UP trying to cover their butts for their "fallen flag" claim against the model railroad industry.
|
That's not heritage but at the same time its somewhat interesting.
|
Sorta reminds me of the Maserk-Sealand F45. What does the slogan say? Its not the usual "Building America".

I believe it's "Proven heritage/powerful future" one one side of the shield with "Building Amewrica" on the other side. Nice shots, Bruce. My one complaint about this unit is a small one actually, why did they not outline the inside of the numbers dark blue as they did the outside? It looks odd. Overall, I like it! -- Joe H.

This is how UP is going to justify going after anyone who uses "their logo" for profit. Model railroaders are already paying a surcharge on CNW, SP and UP models.
Now the "fallen flags" are being added to the line up.

Nice picture, Bruce, but that is one ugly locomotive.
|
Great shot, I really like this locomotive

nice photo bruce and why does it seem i'm the only person that likes the EMD SD70ACe locomotives they are the future of railroading

You're not the only one who likes the 70ACe. I'll bet everyone thinks that the thing is simply ugly, but crews don't shut up about how smooth they ride. It takes a pretty funky paint job like this one to make them look good, though. Neat:)

Hey I think it's great!! Always nice to see some variety on the rails. Great catch, and thanks for sharing!
