John: Great view. This is either train No. 22 "El Capitan" or No. 10 "Kansas City Chief" arriving Chicago. Both trains arrived in the morning at 7:15 am and 7:30 am, repectively. The Super Chief arrived around 1:30 pm in the Windy City. Terrific shots, John, and thanks for sharing them. Phil

Probably the train from Kansas City. The El Capitan had hi-level passenger cars in 1957, I believe.

The date cannot be 1957. That must be a typographic error. It's 1960 or later. Windshield grabirons were not used by Santa Fe until required by Federal Regulation beginning in 1960.
