Amazing photo. What is UP doing with SOO 2719 though?

That's such a sweet picture, but SOO 2719 is only running as a background piece ... but still sweet nonetheless ...

NICE shot.....and it's not at all because it's the steamer, or the UP power, or anything like that.....it's just a cool exposure. I get cold just looking at it!

Looks very cold out there. Nice shot.

Nice shot. Love the blue haze over the ground and the light from the headlights!

Just to answer a few questions. SOO 2719 was rebuilt in the early 2000's at the Altoona Roundhouse. It ran a few excursions but then costs got to high. It then remained in the Altoona roundhouse until 2004. The roundhouse was in rough shape and in late spring 2004 was torn down. SOO 2719 then sat outside from April 2004 until present. There were plans of having it rebuilt as an oil burner and run excursions on the Montana Rail Link. Those plans were scrapped and now I heard there's new plans for it to run out of Duluth on the North Shore Scenic.
And yes, it was cold out!
