Excellent photo Jeff, Back in 1986 on a visit to the Pilbara Region of Western Australia I saw the HI Dash-7s working in consists hauling iron ore trains with the EMD SD50 and Alco M636 units.Your photo brings back good memories.I'm glad to see the original front windows have been restored after Hamersley modified these units with one large centre windscreen for single person operation.This made them look a bit weird and spoilt their good GE looks.The three C36-7s were built under licence in Australia.
