Thank you for posting this piece of history. Everyone should remember that the US Army's Railroad Division (servicemen from all the US Railroads) rebuilt all of the tracks and equipment so that they could be used to resupply the Allied Forces and for the future use by the French. These Railroad Servicemen had to stay in Europe rebuilding railroads as late as 1948. These "Unsung Heroes" were never given the proper credit and honor they deserved.
