Nice timing, Rob, on so many levels: Having a day off 3000 miles from home, stumbling upon the RBB&B Circus train on Tehachapi and finally catching it on the curve at Monolith with enough elevation to show both ends of the train. (And, frankly, I think this is the more interesting end of the train, too, as the diesels aren't as special.)
