Darn, I hate wires. I probably would have tried to clone them out. And power/telephone poles too. Great shot.

It's not fair that one person has all this talent, and timing (luck?). I look forward to many more of your photos. Keep up the good work.

Holy antelope, POTW! Thanks AGAIN to everyone for the incredible welcome to RP that I've received -- I'm definitely feeling like Dorothy in Oz, not quite able to grasp what's going on but nevertheless accepting things as they appear. /// A little more background info on this shot: I was heading southbound on Hwy 59 out of Bill and had just come over the first hill south of Crossover 90.5 when I was greeted by the incredible scene of the black sky and the empty just taking the signal in the distance. I literally had just enough time to spot a ranch trail, bail off Hwy 59, whip out and set up my tripod, swap lenses, slap the camera on the tripod, make a rough guess at a decent exposure and start banging away. This was the first shot in the sequence that I took and I never once saw power lines running across the scene. If I'd had my druthers I would have captured the head end about 15 car-lengths back, but this is what I came out with... and I have to admit that I'm pretty darn pleased with the result. /// Thanks again! -Dave

Kudos on that killer shot there Dave. Dig the lighting. All the uproar over your shots prove that your work is not in vain. Your portfolio shows some fresh material. Keep it up!
