What a Plow! Must be for moving all that traffic away.

Looks to me like they mounted the coupler backwards. Pretty cheesy prop!

That is pretty funny. I was scratching my head and wondering how that could be, since there were never any tracks at 7th and Spring. Eventually it dawned on me that the photo was recent as was the design of the mock up "like duh!" I wonder if they are going to virtually draw the tracks in later, or whether their camera shots don't go that low.

This looks like a George Barris customized car, it's been lowered all the way around, and has a slotted grille. The trailing cars also appear to have been lowered, so there is no problem with taking out the traffic signals. I hope they included an air compressor for those horns, just in case someone decides to run a red light. I also hope they included an EOT on the last car. If wired properly the ditch lights could function as turn signals.

LOL... Now I've seen everything. :-) Nice catch, Charles. It appears to me that you were at the perfect distance from it anyway.

Nice grab, Charles. More on this from the LA Times here: http://tinyurl.com/ksg6ru The article also includes a night "roster shot" of the unit. From the side, it looks very much like a real locomotive, but on rubber tires.
