Looks like the curve just north of Hale Center, TX. One of the few big curves on an otherwise tangent line. Well done.

Back in the late 1950's as a kid living in El Nido (LA county) watching the various ATSF zebras on the Harbor Branch, I asked my dad what do the "big" freight units of ATSF look like? Naturally, he told me, and not too much longer after that conversation, what should go by 190th Street crossing? From what I remember, you could take this A-B-B-A set and transpose it going past Pacific Crest Cemetary and an eight year old boy; you would understand my joy at seeing some "big" units on the Harbor. Thanks Jim for sharing this shot and allowing a 60 year old 'kid' relive my memory!! But it's not warbonnets...seems like that is all that people now want to show. Nice to see something 'not warbonnet' for a change. (I do love the wb's, but ATSF did have other paint!!) Thanks again!
