Looks like a mid-50s Buick...note the portholes on the front side panel..maybe 1956
Looks to be a 1955 Buick Century, like the used in the Highway Patrol television series
The little red beauty is a 1955 buick century.
It's a 1955 Buick. Cubans have had to hang on to their cars since Castro took over the country in 1959. I've heard stories about the 50's cars still used there. They repair them by hand in a lot of cases.
Definitely 1950's American iron, but the engine might not be. I read an article once about a '57 Chevy in Cuba that had a UPS truck engine in it. That way the car could run on kerosene which was much cheaper than gasoline.
Its a 1955 General Chrysford Stylepak Super.. hehe AKA, a 55 Buick Century
Hey guys -- trains not cars. Is the locomotive older?
I would venture that the locomotive is NEWER. It looks like one of those Russian "RS-1 knock-offs".
Believe the locomotive is relatively new... I remembered they look similar to the engines that the USSR gave in trade for grain, see for yourself: http://www.pbase.com/lynnh/russian_tem7a_engines They are the Yugo of the railroad world.

I concur, it's a 1955 Buick Century. As a kid I rode in the back seat of one of these for many, many, many miles.
My question is: "How many people are in this Buick?"
