Stephen, over the past year I have been studying Plowden's work and the one technique that keeps jumping out is backlighting. We railfans were so indoctrinated into the 3/4 sunlit wedge on Kodachrome during the 80's I am relishing in the true artistic work we are seeing in the digital age.
