Nice catch of 914 on a HEP2 service! Not sure where you got the info VIA is down rating the P42DC to under 90 mph. I checked this with VIA and the rebuilt P42 engines will still attain 102mph in the corridor. There is apparently however a temporary 90 mph speed limit presently for the P42 fleet on the Kingston sub, where the train you photographed will continue to Montreal as VIA 60.
