After SEMPTA's rail operations were shut down, some of the Geeps went to Boston's MBTA and most of the cars were acquired by New York's MTA for commuter service out of Grand Central Terminal, New York. There were two classes of cars in the SEMPTA fleet, former Grand Trunk Western, ex-UP Pullman-Standard built coaches, which are represented by the first five showing aft of the baggage car, and ex-PC (PRR) Budd corridor coaches, rebuilt from Pennsy 21-Roomette sleepers in 1963.

SOME, if not all of those, Budd, ex-PRR SEMTA cars went to Maryland's MARC commuter line and were stored for a while in Brunswick MD. I BELIEVE they were then put through rehab and used by MARC.
