What happened to the engines after abandonment. I saw an engine that looked like this one in Chile.

Yes, most of them did end up in Chile, especially the one in the photo. Sister #931 is on display 1/2 mile from this location along with steamer #593- the only newfoundland steamer left in existence. Location of this photo is more appropriately called "Seal head". ;)
