Jeeze, James - How on Earth did you manage to get UP to run a personalized photo-charter? Were you in constant contact with the crew or did you simply deboard the train for the runbys? Or are you just that good! Extreme envy, here. Fantastic series!

Chasing the 844 from Ogden was 90 minutes of pure paradise. I had a great time and acquired all of the photos I had hoped for. A big 'thank you' goes to the Union Pacific for maintaining this beautiful locomotive, and allowing it to traverse this historic mainline some 68 years after the venerable 4-8-4 was built by Alco.

Great picture of The BigBoy in your series. Love the old steamers. Please tell me what the SOGRS abbreviates? I can usually figure out most of them, but that one has me stumped.
